Lancia Stratos HF Rear View
The Lancia Stratos HF Stradale is an iconic sports car developed in the early 1970s, famous for its radical design and rallying success. Designed by Marcello Gandini at Bertone, the Stratos features a wedge-shaped, aerodynamic body with a mid-engine layout, making it compact and highly agile. Lancia used a 2.4-liter Ferrari V6 engine, producing about 190 horsepower in the street-legal *Stradale* version, which allowed it to reach a top speed of around 144 mph.
Originally created to dominate rally racing, the Stratos went on to achieve legendary status, winning the World Rally Championship three consecutive times from 1974 to 1976. Its bold styling, combined with its racing pedigree, has made the Stratos a sought-after collector's car and an enduring symbol of Lancia's engineering prowess.
